An Overview of our Lab Recent Activities
On 12–13 February 2026, the Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care (IfIS) will host the 4th Swiss Implementation Science Conference at the University of Zurich. The theme will be:
True IMPACT – providing innovation for patients and the public
We look forward to engaging discussions on how implementation science contributes to innovation in health care and beyond. Abstract submission is open until 1 September.

During the European Implementation Event (EIE), held in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, our colleague Dr. Sarah Serhal received the Patient Involvement and Community Engagement (PICE) Award for her oral communication entitled "Co-creation approach to adapting an interprofessional pharmacy service targeting initiation adherence in Switzerland: myCare Start – Implementation Science project."

During the Pharmaceutical Care Network (PCNE) conference, held in Innsbruck, Austria, our colleagues Karima Shamuratova and Dr. Chiara Jeiziner were awarded Best Oral Communication for their work entitled "Optimizing the patient consent processes in community pharmacy services research: a mixed-methods study."

During the Swiss Implementation Science Network (IMPACT) conference, held in Geneva, Switzerland, our colleague Dr. Sarah Serhal was awarded Best Oral Presentation for her work entitled "The preparedness of Switzerland's primary care ecosystem for delivery of an enhanced interprofessional service to optimize patient initiation adherence to long-term medicines."
