Davy Guillarme, Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Lyon, France, currently serves as an associate professor at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. With over 360 published journal articles in pharmaceutical analysis and h-index of 81 (Google Scholar), his expertise spans various techniques, including HPLC, UHPLC, HILIC, LC−MS, SFC, SFC-MS, multidimensional LC, and the analysis of any kind of biopharmaceuticals products (proteins, mAbs, oligonucleotides, gene therapy products, mRNA…). In his research, he is actively collaborating with numerous industrial partners.
He was an editor of Journal of Chromatography B from 2018 to 2024 and is now an editor of the Journal of Chromatography A since 2024. He serves on the editorial advisory board of prestigious journals like Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Chromatography B, Journal of Separation Science, LC−GC International... He also serves as the president of the Centre for Competency in Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology (CCCTA), a non-profit organization with approximately 300 members, and as the president of the Club Lyonnais de Chromatographie (AFSEP), which has more than 100 members.
Davy Guillarme has been honored with the excellence award from the centre for competency in analytical chemistry and toxicology (CCCTA), Switzerland (2008), LC-GC Emerging Leader Award in Chromatography (2013), Jubilee Medal from the Chromatographic Society (2018), International Award of the Belgian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2022) and the Csaba Horvath memorial award (2025). His global recognition extends to being listed among the world's most influential analytical scientists by "Analytical Scientist" magazine in multiple years.
Additionally, he actively contributes to education through teaching, training courses, seminars, and conferences, focusing on HPLC, SFC, and biopharmaceuticals analysis.
